Health Services

Resident Services, Social Services, Assisted Living and the Health Center work closely together to provide services that support the health, comfort, safety and well-being of each resident.

Residents have the convenience and assurance of receiving basic and emergency medical assistance without having to leave the Village. University Village has an on-site health clinic staffed by a Geriatrician who lives on the premises, a Family Practice physician as medical director, a Neurologist who oversees the Parkinson's program, a full-time RN as Director of Nursing in the Health Center, a full-time RN as Director of Nursing in Assisted Living and a fully licensed staff of certified nursing assistants (CNA) and certified medication aides (CMA).

A Wellness Foot Clinic is held weekly for a nominal fee. Free health screenings for blood pressure and blood sugar are held each week. A licensed massage therapist has an office on-site. A full time Director of Nursing in Assisted Living and a full licensed staff of certified nursing.

Residents are free to use the physician and healthcare providers of their choice. To encourage residents to visit their personal physician regularly, transportation is provided to doctors' appointments in Tulsa. For convenience, some residents choose to utilize our on-site physician as their primary care physician. Screenings for blood pressure are held each week and blood sugar checks are monthly.
