Health Services
Resident Services, Social Services, Assisted Living and the Health Center work closely together to provide services that support the health, comfort, safety and well-being of each resident.
Residents have the convenience and assurance of receiving basic and emergency medical assistance without having to leave the community.
University Village has the following professionals serving residents in our on-site health clinic:
- Family Physician serving as Health Center Medical Director
- Full-time RN serving as Director of Nursing in the Health Center
- Full-time LPN serving as Director of Nursing in Assisted Living services
- Fully licensed staff of certified nursing assistants (CNA)
- Certified medication aides (CMA)
Other Services
- 24/7 access to physicians
- Free weekly blood pressure health screenings.
- Free monthly blood sugar screenings.
- Wellness Foot Clinics. Held weekly for small fee.
- Licensed massage therapist on-site.
Residents are free to use the physician and healthcare providers of their choice, although for convenience, many choose to utilize our on-site physician as their primary care physician. To encourage residents to visit their personal physician regularly, transportation is provided to doctors' appointments in Tulsa.
