Parkinson's Program

The Parkinson's Program at University Village Retirement Community (UV) is the first of it's kind in the state of Oklahoma, was recognized as the 2005 "Innovation of the Year" award winner by the Oklahoma Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (OKASHA).

The program is designed to provide an integrated, customized and sensitive approach to meeting the individual needs of a resident with Parkinson's through:

We collaborate closely with the Parkinson's Information and Referral Center for Oklahoma and Southern Kansas, a jointly sponsored program of the American Parkinson's Disease Association (APDA) and Hillcrest Medical Center/Kaiser Rehabilitation Center in Tulsa.
